King Saud University (KSU) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Nama Foundation in Malaysia as part of its strategic direction to strengthen its international presence and expand its network of academic partnerships.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Vice President for Educational and Academic Affairs Nasser Al-Daghri. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Nama Foundation by its chief executive Officer Dr. Saleh Bazead.
The agreement aims to support King Saud University’s international orientation, enhance its capacity to attract outstanding international students, and empower them academically and professionally through advanced educational and developmental programs.
These efforts contribute to preparing scientifically and professionally qualified cadres, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in international education, promoting the values of moderation and cultural coexistence, and consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for knowledge, science, and innovation.
The agreement includes several areas of cooperation, notably the admission and support of international students in accordance with approved academic standards and clear timelines; the establishment of joint programs to support high-achieving students and enhance their academic excellence.
Other cooperation areas include the implementation of specialized programs to develop academic, leadership, and professional skills, and the organization of forums, workshops, and scientific events targeting international students within the university.
NAMA Foundation is an international grant provider envisioned to become the Pioneer in Grants for Sustainable Development. It aims to empower the education sector and civil communities organization throughout the world.
The empowerment of the sectors are through institutional grants and partnership building, supported by excellent project management and sophisticated result measurement.
