The Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (Invest Qatar) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to boost bilateral trade, investment, and business engagement.

The partnership agreement was signed during the official visit of Hong Kong delegation, led by John KC Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The delegation, comprising over 50 senior executives and business leaders from Hong Kong and mainland China, was organized by HKTDC as part of its commitment to exploring new avenues of growth in the Gulf region and beyond.

The MoU marks a key milestone in the Qatar-Hong Kong economic relationship and creates a comprehensive framework for long-term cooperation across various key sectors.

Under the agreement, both parties will work together to conduct and participate in joint initiatives such as trade fairs, investment forums, business conferences, and networking events that fosters meaningful engagement between stakeholders.

The MoU is set to unlock new opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs from both sides, exploring each other’s markets. It will focus on knowledge exchange, capacity building, and supporting enterprises in navigating regulatory frameworks and business environments.
