A delegation from the Jazan Chamber, led by Secretary-General Dr. Majid Al-Jawhari, explored opportunities for boosting trade and investment exchanges with trade officials in Guangzhou, China.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the business sectors of both regions, aiming to enhance economic collaboration and foster mutual growth.

The delegation also examined a wide array of promising investment opportunities, focusing on key sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, water desalination, artificial intelligence, logistics, information technology, communications, medical industries, and the automotive sector.

They discussed potential collaborations in these emerging fields, with an emphasis on sustainable development and technological innovation, aiming to drive long-term growth and strengthen bilateral economic ties.

Dr. Al-Jawhari said that the meeting would serve as a sustainable platform for cooperation, establishing a joint digital platform to facilitate communication between the business sectors in Jazan and Guangzhou.

He added that the meeting would contribute to organizing annual reciprocal visits by trade delegations specializing in sectors of mutual interest and exchanging economic and investment studies and expertise that serve the markets of both sides.

Jazan Chamber delegation’s visit to China

A delegation from the Jazan Chamber has recently embarked on a visit to China to explore promising investment opportunities and strengthen cooperative relations with businesses and investors in the Kingdom’s largest trading partner.

The delegation, consisting of businessmen and businesswomen from 11 sectors spanning various economic fields in the Jazan Region, attended the Canton Fair (China Import and Export Fair) in Guangzhou. The visit marks an important step in expanding trade relations and fostering new avenues for economic collaboration between the two regions.
