UAE-based logistics support firm Aramex has joined hands with Mubadala Healthcare, a unit of Mubadala Investments to provide door to door critical medical supplies to recovering patients across UAE.
Through the collaboration, Aramex intends to reach at least 2,000 patients in the times of the pandemic. Aramex will work with hospitals under Mubadala Healthcare’s portfolio including Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Healthpoint and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in an initiative that can lift the pressure off the region’s hospitals while ensuring that social distancing protocols are followed.
Over-the-counter drugs, prescription-only medicines, and nutritional feed will reach the patients through a next day delivery system.
