Oman’s first local bank National Bank of Oman (NBO) has joined an initiative known as Khibrat, with an intention to provide job training for 60 youth in the region.

Khibrat, organized by the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Youth, provides a five-day intensive workshop that focuses on teaching employability skills and works ethics to Omani youth. NBO hosted the final session of the workshop in Muscat, providing the best opportunities for the youth.

The bank will fund the candidates for on-the-job training in the private sector for 12 months, after the completion of the workshop. It is the latest youth-centered initiative launched by NBO to help the youth of Oman and foster national power.
