Qatar Airways (QA) is set to launch the next-generation in-flight entertainment system, powered by Panasonic Avionics’ new Converix platform on its Boeing 777-9 fleet.
Announced during the 55th International Paris Air Show, this marks a key step toward the airline’s vision for a digitally-enabled, personalized and smart onboard journey.
Through intelligent personalization and smooth system integration, the in-flight entertainment system aims to redefine the onboard experience. The new system will harness the potential of AI technology, enabling passengers to interact and control key parts of their onboard experience all through one smart connected platform.
The system ensures hyper-personalized experience where passengers can enjoy dynamic content tailored to their preferences, seat-level smart controls and a fully connected digital environment.
