“Qatar and Türkiye continue to maintain strong cooperation across various economic and commercial sectors, and relations between the Qatari and Turkish private sectors have witnessed steady growth in recent years through a number of joint investments and projects. We are considering organizing a Qatari business delegation visit to Türkiye to explore available investment opportunities and meet with Turkish companies and investors to discuss cooperation across different sectors. Qatar Chamber remains ready to provide support and facilitation services for Turkish investors interested in entering the Qatari market. We also continue to encourage partnerships that contribute to expanding trade exchange and strengthening private sector cooperation between the two countries.”
Abdullah Altunkum said that the Turkish delegation’s visit to Doha explored opportunities in the Qatari market and strengthened cooperation with Qatari companies and investors.
Altunkum emphasized that the delegation is particularly interested in sectors including energy, renewable energy, natural gas, transport, logistics, and trade.
Abdullah Altunkum also invited Qatari businesspersons to invest in Türkiye and establish partnerships with Turkish investors either in Türkiye, Qatar, or international markets.
The discussions put forward the proposal for the formation of a joint investment group comprising investors from both countries to identify and evaluate potential business and investment opportunities.
The meeting reflects ongoing efforts by Qatar and Türkiye to strengthen bilateral economic relations and expand private sector engagement through investment partnerships and commercial cooperation across strategic sectors.
