The Qatar Foundation (QF) has announced a strategic partnership with WHOOP, a human performance technology company, to enhance education, research, and innovation in health, sports science, and human performance.
The collaboration is aimed at equipping Qatar Foundation students and graduates with skills, training opportunities, and industry exposure in the growing health and fitness technology sector. It also seeks to support applied research in areas including sports science, wellness, and precision health.
Under the partnership, both organizations will develop pathways for students and alumni to access learning and career development opportunities.
These will include hands-on experiences, engagement with emerging technologies, and exposure to real-world applications intended to prepare participants for evolving industry requirements.
The initiative will also focus on joint research activities between Qatar Foundation and WHOOP in fields related to sports science and health performance. The collaboration contributes new insights and innovations in wellness and data-driven health monitoring.
In addition, the partnership will extend to community programs and events across Education City and other platforms, with the aim of promoting active lifestyles and greater awareness of health and wellness among the wider population.
The agreement signed at an Education City ceremony by Yousif Al Naama, CEO of Qatar Foundation, and Will Ahmed, founder and CEO of WHOOP, will also extend to programs and events across Education City and beyond, engaging communities in meaningful ways and inspiring people to adopt more active and healthier lifestyles.
