Qatar Minister of Commerce and Industry, HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani, held discussions with representatives from the Qatar Chamber and the Qatari Businessmen Association to address key challenges currently facing the private sector.
The meeting aimed to explore practical solutions to address them, as well as review the latest developments in initiatives and projects related to improving the business environment in the country.
HE Sheikh Faisal stated that the meeting reflects the Ministry’s approach of strengthening direct communication channels with its partners in the private sector and listening to their views and suggestions.
Qatar Minister also underscored the significance of constructive cooperation and highlighted that integration of efforts among all stakeholders are essential to overcoming challenges, stressing the importance of continuous efforts to implement initiatives that contribute to creating a business-friendly and investment-attractive environment.
The discussions also focused on various topics related to the Ministry’s initiatives, including streamlining procedures, updating legislation, and facilitating commercial and investment activities to enhance efficiency. These measures aim to improve the overall business climate in the country, fostering greater competitiveness and attracting more international investments.
According to the statement, the meeting between the Qatar Minister and private sector representatives was part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to boost economic competitiveness and strengthen the partnership between the public and private sectors.
