Qatar’s first Islamic financial institution, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has received the prestigious “Appreciation for Innovation in Digital Banking” award from Visa for its ongoing efforts in offering improved digital solutions to cardholders through the mobile banking application and internet banking platforms.
QIB has succeeded in providing the most frequently used card features via the mobile app, including the instant Credit Card application, approval, and instant temporary limit increase, as part of its ongoing journey to improve its Mobile Banking services and give more flexibility to its cardholders.
According to the statement, QIB has added several new card capabilities to the QIB Mobile App in the last 24 months, providing outstanding consumer convenience. QIB has previously partnered with Visa to offer Visa Transaction Control (VTC) for providing QIB Visa credit cardholders more control, safety, and security over their cards via the App.
