Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA, has signed three new educational agreements as part of the fifth edition of the Red Sea Vocational Training Program, an employment-linked initiative in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).

These partnerships signed by Red Sea Global are with Prince Mugrin University, the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies, and Batterjee Medical College.

These came at a time when Red Sea Global’s development across The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations is accelerating. Five hotels are now open at The Red Sea destination as well as supporting infrastructure.

Last month, RSG announced the upcoming opening of Shura Island, which will feature 11 hotels, residences, high-end food and beverage, and retail experiences. AMAALA is on track to open later this year.

Red Sea Global-Prince Mugrin University partnership

This Program will serve as the cornerstone for delivering exceptional guest experiences and reinforcing the global standing of RSG destinations within the luxury tourism landscape.
  • The first-time partnership with the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies will train 180 students in technical services (electrical and mechanical). This initiative aims to develop the competencies required to operate and maintain RSG’s advanced and sustainable infrastructure, systems that rely on cutting-edge technologies to meet the company’s ambitious environmental goals.
  • RSG will also continue its collaboration with Batterjee Medical Colleges to offer specialized diplomas in hotel operations and food and beverage services, as well as a second cohort of the pioneering wellness tourism program. These agreements reaffirm RSG’s unwavering commitment not only to developing world-class tourism destinations but also to investing in the Kingdom’s greatest asset, its people, ensuring they remain at the heart of the success story being written along the shores of the Red Sea.
