Saudi Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services is set to host the Global Logistics Forum 2024 under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Global Logistics Forum 2024 will take place from October 12 to 14 at the King Abdullah Financial District. The event seeks to strengthen international collaboration and reshape the global trade and supply chain landscape.
“Our ambition is that the Global Logistics Forum helps to reshape the global map of logistics. It is a transformational platform and given his legacy of spearheading notable achievements and reforms in Saudi Arabia, it is only right that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has bestowed his patronage on the event. We are grateful for his support, and will use the event as an opportunity to blaze a trail of prosperity in this inaugural event.”
The forum will center on enhancing the infrastructure and optimizing logistics operations to boost growth and maximize impact. With the primary focus on the sector’s need to cope with the effects of global climate change, the forum is set to provide a collaborative platform for stakeholders to work towards making a meaningful change.
More than 10,000 participants, including heads of state, ministers, industry leaders, experts, and innovators from around the world are expected to attend the forum. The event will feature discussion sessions, interactive workshops, and exhibitions to empower international cooperation and attract innovation in sustainable logistics solutions.
The forum will offer a unique opportunity for participants to shape future logistics trends, establish relationships with global leaders, and explore new opportunities for collaborations. The Kingdom’s significant advancements, including the impressive rise in the Logistics Performance Index and its progress towards achieving the goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy will also be explored.
In addition to this, the forum will launch the logistics center’s master plan. The initiative aims to enhance infrastructure, diversify the economy, and to reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub. The forum’s strategic location will also enhance the setting with its modern infrastructure and rich cultural heritage.
