Red Sea Global (RSG) has announced the opening of Six Senses AMAALA, a beachfront resort in the Triple Bay area of AMAALA, with the property scheduled to welcome its first guests from mid-July.

The resort is the second property to open at the AMAALA destination and the second collaboration between Red Sea Global and the Six Senses brand, following the opening of Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea, in 2023.

According to Red Sea Global, the resort has been designed to reflect Saudi Arabia’s traditional coastal architecture while integrating with the surrounding natural environment, including beaches, mangroves, and desert landscapes.

Accommodation and wellness facilities

John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, said that the company continues to partner with hospitality brands that align with its long-term strategy for luxury tourism, sustainability, and wellness.

Pagano added that the opening of Six Senses AMAALA strengthens the partnership between Red Sea Global and Six Senses and supports the expansion of wellness-focused hospitality offerings in Saudi Arabia.

Dining facilities include three restaurants, an artisanal bakery, a coffee roastery, and a cooking school, with menus inspired by local ingredients.

Environmental and destination features

The property also includes environmental initiatives such as the Earth Lab and the Mini Mangrove World program, allowing guests to learn about the surrounding ecosystems and enjoy interactive experiences.

Guests will have access to other attractions at AMAALA, including Corallium-the Marine Life Institute, the AMAALA Yacht Club, marine and desert activities, as well as retail and dining facilities.

Six Senses AMAALA is the second international resort to open at the destination. Red Sea Global plans to open six additional resorts at AMAALA during the year.

Upon completion of the Triple Bay development, AMAALA will comprise more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, in addition to branded residences, wellness facilities, yacht marinas, retail outlets, and dining venues. The project forms part of Saudi Arabia’s tourism development plans under Saudi Vision 2030.
