Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global (RSG) has officially opened Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, marking the start of operations at AMAALA, the company’s second flagship tourism destination.

Located along the Kingdom’s northwestern Red Sea coast, AMAALA is being developed as a destination focused on luxury wellness, well-being, and sustainable tourism.

The opening of the first resort transitions the project from the development phase into operational activity, with additional resorts and visitor facilities scheduled to open in the coming months.

Project enters operational phase

John Pagano, Chief Executive Officer of Red Sea Global Group, said that, “The opening of the first resort at AMAALA represents a defining moment in bringing our vision to life. By delivering this world-class project on schedule, we demonstrate how regenerative development can successfully combine economic ambition with meaningful environmental and social impact. This achievement reinforces Saudi Arabia’s standing as a premier destination for luxury wellness and transformative travel.”

AMAALA has been designed as a destination centered on wellness and lifestyle experiences, with a focus on health, recreation, hospitality, and environmental stewardship.

Triple Bay, one of the destination’s main development areas, is expected to feature more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, alongside retail outlets, restaurants, leisure attractions, and marine-focused facilities.

Triple Bay development plans

Planned attractions at Triple Bay include the AMAALA Yacht Club and the Corallium Marine Life Institute, which will support marine conservation, education, and visitor engagement initiatives.

The area serves as a hub for hospitality, tourism, and recreational activities along the Red Sea coast.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA is the first hospitality property to begin operations within the destination.

Designed by architecture firm U+A, the resort combines luxury accommodation with sustainability-focused infrastructure. The property operates entirely on renewable energy and is supported by waste-management systems aligned with a zero-waste approach aimed at reducing environmental impact and supporting ecosystem preservation.

Resort features and sustainability focus

The resort includes 202 rooms, suites, villas, and garden accommodations overlooking the Red Sea. In addition, it features 26 branded Four Seasons private residences ranging from 552 square meters to more than 1,000 square meters, with each residence equipped with a private swimming pool.

The property has been developed in line with Red Sea Global’s sustainability objectives, integrating renewable energy systems and environmental management practices into its operations while maintaining high hospitality standards.

Wellness and lifestyle offerings

Wellness facilities include the 2,095-square-meter Helia Wellness and Spa Center and a 511-square-meter fitness center.

Guests will have access to a range of wellness programs developed by international specialists, including sound therapy sessions, fitness activities, and beachside yoga experiences.

Food and beverage offerings are available across six venues. These include MAA Social, which focuses on Middle Eastern coastal cuisine, and ROKA, located overlooking a private bay.

The resort also offers family-oriented facilities, including five swimming pools, a 900-meter private beach, the Kids For All Seasons program, and a technology-focused club designed for younger guests.

For corporate and social events, the property provides more than 1,000 square meters of flexible event and meeting space. The facilities accommodate executive meetings, conferences, weddings, and other large-scale gatherings.

Guests staying at the resort will also have access to a broader range of experiences across Triple Bay, including private tours of the Corallium Marine Life Institute, designed by Foster + Partners, access to the AMAALA Yacht Club, and visits to Marina Village, which offers a selection of luxury retail and dining outlets.

The opening of Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA is the first of nine resorts expected to welcome guests at the destination this year.
