Saudi Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) has signed a contract with flyadeal, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline, in order to conduct detailed and comprehensive inspections on flyadeal’s fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft during this year.

The agreement, signed on the sidelines of the MRO Middle East 2024 exhibition, reaffirms the leading position of SAEI in the aircraft maintenance sector.

As per the agreement, SAEI will conduct 10 C checks on the fleet. These maintenance checks are extensive and include precise testing of most aircraft components to ensure that they meet optimal operational conditions.

Fahd Cynndy, CEO of SAEI, underlined SAEI’s commitment to applying the highest standards of efficiency in all activities and operations, to supporting flyadeal “in their growth journey” and to increasing cooperation in the future.

Steven Greenway, CEO of flyadeal, stated that the collaboration aims to ensure the safety and efficiency of flyadeal’s fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Greenway also reaffirmed both sides’ commitment to provide exceptional services, in line with the highest standards, to meet the aspirations and goals of the local aviation sector and the national strategy for the sector, as outlined in the Saudi Vision 2030.

SAEI offers the latest, most advanced, services, capable of keeping up with the growing needs of the local and regional aviation sector. The contract represents a strategic achievement for both companies, boosting their positions in the sector and cooperation with prominent institutions in the region, as per the statement.
