flyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline and part of the Saudia Group, has announced the launch of its first scheduled passenger services to India with daily flights between Riyadh and Hyderabad starting July 1, 2026.

The new route marks flyadeal’s formal entry into the Indian market as the airline expands its international operations in line with its long-term growth strategy.

Hyderabad has been selected as the airline’s first Indian destination due to its growing importance as a technology, aerospace, and business center.

The city, which serves as the capital of the Indian state of Telangana, has developed into one of India’s leading hubs for information technology and innovation, hosting several multinational companies and industrial sectors.

“India, a long-awaited addition to flyadeal’s growing network of international destinations, is a key part of Saudia Group and flyadeal’s long-term strategy. Tickets for the service are now available through flyadeal’s website, mobile application, and travel agency network.

Over the past three years, flyadeal has operated special Hajj and Umrah charter services connecting selected Indian cities with Saudi Arabia. However, the Hyderabad route represents the airline’s first regular scheduled passenger operation between the two countries.

The route will be operated using flyadeal’s Airbus A320neo aircraft configured with 186 all-economy seats. The aircraft features USB charging ports at every seat along with Airbus’ Airspace cabin design and expanded overhead storage compartments.

India becomes the latest addition to flyadeal’s growing international network, which currently includes destinations in the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, and Pakistan.

The airline presently operates a fleet of 46 Airbus A320 family aircraft from bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Dammam, serving 37 seasonal and year-round destinations across the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, and South Asia.
