A cooperation agreement has been signed in the Salalah Free Zone to conduct a technical and economic feasibility study for establishing the first car manufacturing plant in the Wilayat of Salalah, Dhofar Governorate.
This agreement was formalized between Salalah Global City Company, a prominent operator within the free zone, and the Chinese firm Jiangsu Changhong Intelligent Equipment, known for its expertise in producing and assembling automotive production lines.
The partnership between Salalah Free Zone and Jiangsu Changhong Intelligent Equipment highlights the strong confidence international enterprises have in Salalah’s investment climate, which is supported by its modern infrastructure, strategic connectivity to regional ports and markets, and the attractive incentives and support offered to investors across various industrial sectors.
