The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) Saudi Arabia has concluded the ‘The Quantum Journey’ exhibition in Riyadh, held under the theme ‘Shaping the Future of the Quantum Workforce’, which focused on advancing awareness and capabilities in emerging quantum technologies and their future applications.
The Quantum Journey Exhibition was organized in collaboration with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), King Salman Science Oasis (KSSO), the Institute of Advanced Studies and Cooperation (IASC), and ICB Labs.
The exhibition welcomed several senior government officials and attracted more than 1,500 visitors, including students, families, researchers, and individuals interested in the field.
The Quantum Journey Exhibition provided an immersive educational experience through interactive stations that allowed visitors to explore the fundamental principles of quantum science and understand the opportunities enabled by its advanced technologies.
During the closing ceremony, KSSO Supervisor General Dr. Khalid bin Abdulqader Taher delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the oasis’s important role as a national platform that inspires future generations to pursue science and discovery.
C4IR Saudi Arabia Managing Director Dr. Basma Saleh Al-Buhairan highlighted that the Quantum Journey Exhibition helped make quantum science more accessible while broadening public awareness of frontier technologies.
Al-Buhairan also praised the strong engagement of visitors across the event’s educational and interactive activities. In addition, she expressed gratitude to the partners and organizers for their efforts in delivering a successful exhibition and strengthening its impact within the community, further reinforcing the center’s mission of advancing awareness around the safe and ethical adoption of emerging technologies.
At the conclusion of the Quantum Journey Exhibition, Dr. Taher and Dr. Al-Buhairan honored the organizing teams in recognition of their dedication and contributions, which played a key role in the exhibition’s success and in effectively communicating its educational objectives to visitors.
