Dubai Chamber of Commerce has established the Kenyan Business Council to strengthen economic cooperation and foster closer ties between the business communities of Dubai and Kenya.
The initiative aims to promote bilateral trade, expand investment collaboration across diverse sectors, and create new opportunities for business partnerships.
The Kenyan Business Council held its inaugural meeting at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, where members explored opportunities to strengthen business cooperation, unlock new commercial prospects, and advance mutual investment between Dubai and Kenya.
The meeting also focused on strengthening the connections between Kenyan companies and their counterparts in Dubai, exchanging expertise and data, and organizing bilateral business events.

The launch of the Kenyan Business Council reflects Dubai’s growing position as a global hub for Kenyan companies and investors. A total of 146 new Kenyan companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce during 2025, bringing the number of active Kenyan member companies to 587 by the end of the year, representing annual growth of 9.7 percent.
Non-oil trade between Dubai and Kenya reached $3.7 billion (AED 13.6 billion) in 2025, achieving year-on-year growth of 2.1 percent and reflecting the strength of bilateral trade relations.
According to the statement, the Business Councils operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce represent the interests of companies and investors from specific markets operating in Dubai. They work in close cooperation with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to enhance bilateral trade and investments between Dubai and the markets represented to develop robust economic partnerships.
