King Salman International Airport (KSIA), a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has started the implementation of a Unified Digital Construction Management Ecosystem, in collaboration with TASAMA and Procore, a leading provider of digital solutions for construction projects.

The initiative intends to establish a unified and integrated digital environment for managing construction projects, strengthening governance and operational efficiency while enabling informed decision-making throughout the various stages of project asset development.

By adopting digital solutions from the early stages of project delivery, the initiative will provide a single, reliable source of project information and data, strengthen coordination and transparency, improve delivery efficiency, support cost optimization, and enhance integration among the entities involved in project delivery.

It also marks the first implementation of Procore’s digital solutions within a KSIA project and across the Public Investment Fund portfolio companies.

CEO of TASAMA Eng. Mohammed Al Jasser said that, “At TASAMA, we are committed to enabling major national projects through integrated operating models and modern delivery practices that enhance efficiency and operational sustainability.”

Dr. Al Jasser further noted that, “Our participation in this initiative represents an important step towards strengthening the readiness of strategic projects through a unified digital working environment that supports integration and delivery, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.”

Acting Chief Executive Officer of KSIA Marco Mejia highlighted the importance of investing in technology from the earliest stages of project development, saying that, “This initiative represents a strategic step towards building the digital construction of KSIA by establishing a unified digital environment that strengthens governance, integration and collaboration among the various stakeholders involved.”

“This collaboration reflects our commitment to adopting leading practices that enhance execution efficiency and enable excellence in project delivery from the earliest stages of development,” Mejia added.
