Saudi Arabia and Danish companies discuss mining sector investment

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef, has held a series of bilateral meetings with leaders of several leading Danish companies in the industry and mining sectors.

Discussions covered joint investment opportunities in mining sector, as well as the enablers and incentives offered by the Kingdom to investors.

The meetings focused on strengthening industrial and mining sector cooperation between the two sides and exploring ways to leverage the quality opportunities offered by the National Strategy for Industry across its 12 priority sectors that the Kingdom aims to localize and develop.

This was discussed alongside the opportunities provided by the comprehensive mining sector strategy, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

This came during the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef’s official visit to Denmark, leading a high-level delegation aimed at strengthening economic, industrial, and investment ties between the two countries.

Minister Alkhorayef met with leaders from companies active in the pharmaceutical, food, and mining sectors, including FLSmidth, Danfoss, Novo Holdings, Novonesis, and Arla Foods.

The visit reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to deepen economic partnerships with leading industrial nations and attract global expertise to accelerate the growth and competitiveness of the Kingdom’s industrial and mining sectors.

Minister AlKhorayef’s visit also aims to foster strong international partnerships, enhance its industrial capabilities, and attract high-value investments in line with the National Strategy for Industry. It further reaffirms Saudi Arabia’s enthusiasm to work alongside international partners, such as Denmark, to build resilient, future-ready industries that contribute to sustainable economic growth and regional stability.
