Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) and the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) have explored collaborative opportunities and increasing technological integration in media production.
The Saudi Broadcasting Authority, led by CEO Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, hosted a meeting with representatives from the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence at the SBA headquarters in Riyadh.
SCAI, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), serves as a national AI champion in the Kingdom, offering end-to-end AI and emerging technology solutions across various domains. Their expertise is expected to play a pivotal role in transforming SBA’s media content and operations.
The meeting focused on SCAI’s leading AI technologies and how the SBA could use them to improve its workflow, especially in television production, data analysis, the viewer experience, and the quality of national media content.
Al-Harthi emphasized the authority’s strong interest in modern technologies, especially AI, citing its crucial role in enhancing media content.
This meeting is part of the SBA’s ongoing efforts within its digital transformation strategy, aiming to improve media production efficiency and align with the Kingdom’s aspirations for leadership in the media industry.
The collaboration seeks to utilize AI-driven tools for content creation, automated editing, real-time analytics, and personalized viewer experiences.
According to the reports, this potential partnership underscores SBA’s commitment to adopting modern technologies and reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to integrate AI into various sectors, including media.
