The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has affirmed its commitment to mobilizing all its capabilities and intensifying efforts to support its members across all economic sectors.
The Chamber aims to deliver integrated services and facilities that help private sector businesses in Sharjah grow and expand. It also seeks to strengthen coordination with government entities to launch strategic initiatives that drive economic growth, boost industrial competitiveness, address market challenges, and support long-term sustainability.
This was highlighted during a meeting between the Sharjah Chamber and the Industries Sector Business Group. The session, chaired by HE Abdallah Sultan Al Owais and attended by HE Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, brought together senior officials and representatives from major industrial companies.
The meeting reviewed the current state of Sharjah’s industrial sector, including performance trends, recent developments, and key challenges. Participants discussed proposals to align industrial output with evolving market conditions, enhance efficiency, and strengthen competitiveness across local and regional markets.
Discussions also emphasized the resilience of Sharjah’s business ecosystem and its role in helping the private sector adapt to economic changes. Attendees highlighted the UAE’s strong supply chain infrastructure, supported by advanced logistics systems and a well-connected network of land and maritime gateways, enabling smoother trade flows and operational flexibility.
Al Owais reaffirmed the Sharjah Chamber’s role as a bridge between the private sector and government, noting its focus on flexible, innovation-driven initiatives that support economic sectors, particularly industry. These efforts aim to improve adaptability, encourage sustainable growth, and help businesses expand their market presence.
He also pointed to Sharjah’s strong economic fundamentals, including modern infrastructure and a strategic location linking regional and global markets.
Members of the Business Group commended the Sharjah Chamber’s proactive engagement, stressing the importance of ongoing dialogue to identify challenges and develop targeted solutions that enhance industrial efficiency and competitiveness.
