HE Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority, inaugurated the Saudi Winter 2025 program at a ceremony in Riyadh, which was attended by over 120 private sector partners.

The inaugural event of Saudi Winter 2025 provided a comprehensive overview of the program, presented under the theme ‘Winter is Alive’, and unveiled the Events Calendar.

The event also highlighted a range of distinctive tourism seasons and experiences, set to be hosted at key Saudi Winter destinations.

This included the seasons of Riyadh, Diriyah, AlUla, and Al-Khobar. The program also showcased a variety of tourism offerings, cultural landmarks, and heritage experiences that are expected to play a pivotal role in attracting visitors from targeted regional and international markets.

Running through the first quarter of 2026, the Saudi Winter program will be rolled out in multiple phases, featuring more than 1,200 tourism products and over 600 special offers across major destinations, including Riyadh, Diriyah, Jeddah, AlUla, the Red Sea, and the Eastern Region.

Additional highlights extend to Qassim, Hail, and Madinah, further showcasing the Kingdom’s rich natural, climatic, and cultural diversity. This breadth of offerings reflects Saudi Arabia’s rich natural, climatic, and cultural diversity.

“The launch of Saudi Winter 2025 presents a new opportunity to further position Saudi Arabia as a leading global winter destination. The program builds on the achievements of the past five years in the tourism sector, particularly the growth in visitor numbers and spending, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which targets 150 million visitors by 2030.”

Saudi Winter 2025 introduces a wide range of new experiences, including live concerts, cultural performances, theatrical productions, poetry nights, and family and beachside activities in the season of Al-Khobar.

It also includes the AlUla Wellness Festival, the World Rally Championship, and the F1H2O UIM World Championship powerboat race in Jeddah, besides a special collaboration with MrBeast, and the WWE Royal Rumble event as part of Riyadh Season, along with other high-profile attractions.
