UAE discusses strengthening bilateral relations with Zambia

UAE and Zambia have discussed the prospects of strengthening bilateral relations, marking a significant step in enhancing cooperation between the two nations.

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has received Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia.

During the meeting, the discussions focused on exploring new avenues for collaboration in several key sectors, with an emphasis on aligning their efforts with the development priorities of both nations.

Areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure, and sustainable development were highlighted as potential focal points for cooperation, with the goal of advancing mutual interests and creating lasting partnerships that benefit both countries.

HH Sheikh Abdulllah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to building productive development partnerships with Zambia, in a way that contributes to prosperity and well-being for the peoples of both nations.

The meeting also reviewed current regional and international developments, with the two sides exchanging views on these issues. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State.
