Abu Dhabi Airports unites with GANS to offer air navigation services

Abu Dhabi Airports, the owner and operator of the emirate’s five airports has partnered with the leading provider of Air Navigation Services, Global Air Navigation Services (GANS), in order to provide air navigation services for the airports under the Abu Dhabi Airports.

The contract’s scope includes end-to-end air navigation services, such as approach and aerodrome control services. According to the statement, air traffic controllers and subject matter specialists from GANS will be in charge of ensuring that aircraft take-off, landing, and taxiing of aircraft at Abu Dhabi Airports’ facilities.

Abu Dhabi Airports is part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with a diverse portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s non-oil economy.

Founded in 2008, GANS offers a variety of air navigation services to clients, including air traffic control, aerodrome services, approach services, maintenance of Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance equipment, and all connected air navigation duties, such as training and consultancy.
