Oman Housing Bank has launched a digital waiting list platform for housing finance, allowing citizens to submit registration details and follow their applications electronically.
The platform was launched during the opening of the real estate exhibition held alongside the Dhofar Autumn Season 2026. The launch ceremony was held under the patronage of Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar.
The new service enables citizens to register for the housing finance waiting list online without visiting bank branches during the initial stage.
The platform allows applicants to create accounts, provide personal, professional, and housing details, select financing preferences, and upload required documents electronically.
Applicants will receive notifications regarding the progress of their applications and the required steps to complete the financing process.
The launch includes the processing of housing finance requests submitted during April and May, with 1,252 applications distributed across the bank’s branches. The total value of these requests exceeds $163.8 million (OMR 63 million).
Musa bin Masoud Al Jadidi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Housing Bank, said that the digital waiting list platform is part of the bank’s digital transformation strategy and supports the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
The platform will help simplify housing finance procedures, improve service efficiency, and allow citizens to begin the application process electronically before completing subsequent requirements.
Al Jadidi added that the initiative will support better management of applications, reduce waiting periods, and contribute to improving the efficiency of housing finance services.
The platform has been launched as part of the bank’s ‘Book Your Turn’ campaign to introduce the digital service and promote electronic housing finance applications.
Oman Housing Bank stated that it will continue developing digital solutions and launching additional electronic services to improve access to housing finance and enhance operational efficiency.
