Bahrain will host the first edition of the Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition from 6 to 8 October at Exhibition World Bahrain, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The event aims to strengthen industrial cooperation among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, support economic diversification, and promote the growth of a competitive and sustainable Gulf industrial sector.
The forum and exhibition will be held alongside the meetings of the GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee and the GCC Commercial Cooperation Committee, scheduled in October under Bahrain’s chairmanship.
The event will bring together HE Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, alongside government officials, policymakers, business leaders, investors, and industry experts to discuss opportunities for industrial integration, investment, and partnerships across the region.
Organized as a strategic forum and specialized industrial exhibition, the event will feature ministerial sessions, executive discussions, and expert panels covering industrial policies, global market access, supply chain resilience, green manufacturing, smart factories, industrial financing, talent development, and infrastructure.
The exhibition will showcase Gulf-made products, industrial technologies, and innovations, along with investment platforms and business-to-business meetings aimed at supporting collaboration between companies and investors.
Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Bahrain’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, said that hosting the inaugural event reflects the GCC’s commitment to strengthening joint industrial cooperation and enhancing economic integration among member states.
The minister added that the forum will provide a platform for exchanging expertise, developing industrial partnerships, promoting innovation, and establishing ‘Made in GCC’ as a unified brand representing the quality and competitiveness of Gulf products.
The event is expected to support public-private sector cooperation, attract investment, encourage industrial innovation, and enhance the role of manufacturing in GCC economies.
