The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has teamed up with Dertour Group, a leading German tourism promotion company, as part of the department’s commitment to enhancing its global presence while expanding collaboration with international markets.

The partnership was formalized during a promotional tour organized by the department in Germany, under the presence of His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD.

The promotional roadshow, set to run until May 17, aims to cement Ajman as a top choice for German travelers and industry. The roadshow targeted the cities of Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Leipzig. Additionally, this initiative is set to forge new agreements aimed at expanding cooperation in tourism development.

This agreement aligns with the department’s strategic plans to expand into European markets and attract new segments of visitors. This will be achieved through innovative digital promotional campaigns, awareness events, and by leveraging multiple media platforms in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The partnership also seeks to launch a representative office for the department in Europe, serving as liaison with tourism companies and private sector partners, thereby boosting engagement with the target audience.

His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi stressed that the European market is one of the most promising markets that the department is targeting as part of its strategy to drive growth in tourism while boosting the number of visitors arriving in the emirate.

With vast network of partners in the tourism sector, The Dertour Group offers the department greater opportunities to reach a wider audience and implement collaborative programs with market leaders.

Furthermore, the agreement falls in line the Ajman Vision 2030 framework, which focuses on driving innovation and integration in tourism marketing, as well as the expansion of global partnerships. As a result, this will contribute to sustainable growth for the tourism sector while supporting the development of the local economy.
