Agthia honored at Gulfood Innovation Awards 2021 for its ‘plant bottle’

Abu Dhabi-based leading regional food and beverages company, Agthia Group’s Al Ain plant-based bottle was recognized as the ‘Most Impactful Sustainable Product’ at the Gulfood Innovation Awards 2021.

The awards were announced as part of the Gulfood 2021, the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade show, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre with numerous globally acclaimed brands competing across 11 different categories.

Agthia is the first company in the Middle East and GCC region to make plant-based bottles. All parts of the Al Ain plant bottle are made out of 100 percent sustainable materials including its cap, label and secondary packaging. 

The bottles are made at Agthia’s Al Ain manufacturing site by following the highest quality standards and under conditions that continuously optimize energy consumption in all its operations.
