The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has played a key role in driving industrial development by actively supporting the emirate’s expanding iron, steel, and metal industries.
The Chamber’s efforts to strengthen local factories and expand their regional and global presence were highlighted as BelRemaitha Steel Factory in Ajman dispatched its first commercial export to the Gulf.
The launch event was attended by Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Acting Director General of the Ajman Chamber; Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Government Communication at the Chamber; Dr. Adel Belremeitha, Founder and Chairman of BelRemaitha Steel Factory; and senior factory officials.
During the visit, attendees toured BelRemaitha’s production facilities and were briefed on the factory’s core products, including reinforcement bars, alloys, and pipes; its advanced manufacturing technologies; expansion plans; and strategies to enhance regional and international market reach. The factory is recognized as one of the leading specialized facilities in Ajman and across the UAE.
Al Janahi praised the rapid growth of the iron, steel, and metal industry sectors, highlighting their crucial role in supporting construction, infrastructure, and essential industrial supply chains across the UAE.

“The Ajman Chamber is committed to directly supporting the industrial sector amid its accelerated growth. Ajman’s factories leverage cutting-edge, environmentally friendly technologies and implement best practices in energy and resource efficiency, which enhance productivity, sustainability, and competitiveness. The number of iron, steel, and metal factories in Ajman reached 190 in 2025, with new registrations rising by 28%, and total Chamber memberships in this sector reached 745, reflecting an annual growth rate of approximately 5%. We also continue to support industrial expansion through participation in international exhibitions, facilitation of global partnerships, and creation of new export opportunities, all of which strengthen the competitiveness of Ajman-based products in regional and global markets.”
Dr. Belremeitha emphasized that the factory focuses on enhancing local production capabilities, forging strategic partnerships, and optimizing operational processes through advanced technologies. He added that establishing regional distribution centers is a key priority to expand market access and further boost product competitiveness.
