Ajman Transport Authority has entered into a partnership with Yango Ride, the globally renowned ride-hailing service part of Yango Group, to bring licensed Ajman taxis directly to mobile devices.
Through this strategic partnership, the Yango app now allows residents and visitors in Ajman to book official taxis effortlessly, simplifying daily travel across the Emirate. The new service brings Ajman’s taxi fleet onto the Yango platform, providing on-demand access to safe and reliable transportation.
According to the statement, “Whether commuting to work, exploring landmarks like Ajman Corniche or Ajman Marina, shopping at City Centre Ajman, or traveling to a beachfront hotel, passengers can now use the app to easily connect with licensed taxis throughout the city.”
Available 24×7, the app leverages advanced geolocation and real-time tracking to connect users with the nearest taxi within minutes. With this update, there’s no need to wait on the curb. Taxi fares booked through the Yango app start at $3.54 (AED 13), with clear upfront pricing and no hidden fees.
The Yango platform offers an easy and secure booking experience, including live ride updates, driver details, and in-app payment options such as credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets. Cash payments are also accepted, offering flexibility for a wide range of users.
Available in both English and Arabic, the platform is built to cater to Ajman’s diverse community, residents, daily commuters, and tourists alike.
