The Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce has developed the industrial plots leasing service to enhance efficiency and improve the beneficiary experience.
This comes as part of government efforts to improve service quality and reengineer procedures.
According to the statement, the Bahrain Ministry has updated its review and approval process for leasing requests, leading to faster procedures.
As part of these changes, several documents are no longer required, including copies of the investor’s ID or passport, the company’s organizational structure, and product images.
This was achieved through system integration with other government entities and the automation of internal review processes, as per the statement.
The Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce has been actively working on various initiatives aimed at enhancing the country’s business environment, fostering economic diversification, and promoting sustainability.
Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Bahrain Minister of Industry and Commerce, stated that the service reflects the Ministry’s adoption of innovative digital solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and optimal use of resources, while reducing time and effort for beneficiaries.
This development is in line with broader government initiatives aimed at enhancing public services. As part of these efforts, over 1,300 services have been documented and made publicly accessible, while approximately 800 services across various government sectors have been reengineered.
As per the statement, these improvements are designed to boost service quality, streamline processes, and support the ongoing digital transformation of government operations. Furthermore, these initiatives reflect the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s commitment to fostering a robust and sustainable business environment in Bahrain.
