The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has announced that Disney On Ice, a globally acclaimed live entertainment production, will be the centerpiece of the Bahrain Summer Festival 2025, supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance family tourism and attract international visitors.

Set to run from August 12 to 17 at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), the Disney On Ice event is expected to draw thousands of regional and international visitors, reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a key family tourism destination in the Gulf.

Organized by BTEA in strategic partnership with Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, the event is a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to enhance its tourism offerings and attract high-caliber international entertainment to its shores. The collaboration at Bahrain Summer Festival also highlights Bahrain’s commitment to creating immersive, family oriented cultural experiences during the peak travel season.

The Disney On Ice show will feature an ensemble cast of beloved Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Audiences will also experience captivating performances inspired by Disney’s most iconic stories such as Frozen, Moana, Encanto, Coco, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast. With a vibrant mix of choreography, acrobatics, visual effects, and storytelling, the production is designed to appeal to audiences of all ages, creating memorable moments for families visiting Bahrain this summer.

Dana Osama Al Saad, BTEA Deputy CEO for Resources and Projects, stated that hosting Disney On Ice aligns with the Authority’s goals under the Tourism Strategy (2022 – 2026) to diversify the Kingdom’s tourism offerings and reinforce its appeal as a top summer destination for GCC families. She noted that enriching the local events calendar with high-quality experiences supports Bahrain’s broader vision of becoming a world-class hub for leisure and entertainment.

Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, emphasized the significance of the partnership with BTEA and EWB in attracting international shows to the Kingdom, as part of Bahrain Summer Festival. He described Disney On Ice as a standout feature of the summer lineup, commending its high-energy performances and universal family appeal.

The Bahrain Summer Festival, now a key fixture on the Kingdom’s annual tourism calendar, continues to serve as a platform to showcase Bahrain’s growing potential in family-friendly entertainment and cultural tourism.
