The Regula organization, a pioneer international organization in ID and passport authentication and verification, has asserted that Bahrain’s e-passport is one of the most beautiful passports in the world.

According to Regula, Bahrain’s passport tops a list of 12 passports worldwide, representing a visual journey through time and space. While having recognizable Middle East vibes with a galloping horse and a falcon, it has its unparalleled style. It also explores the modern vision of the Kingdom 2030.

The report indicates that one of the most prominent features of the Bahraini passport is the distinctive touches on its pages through ultraviolet rays, which show the important astronomical landmarks that can be seen in the Bahraini sky, including the major constellations and stars.

The e-passport of Bahrain contains modern security features and high technologies, some of which are used for the first time in passports.

The Kingdom of Bahrain launched its first-ever ePassport in March of this year, bringing the document into the modern age of electronic passports. It is fully compliant with all international standards.

The new passport blends visual images that celebrate Bahrain’s heritage with images of its prosperous future, and it integrates cutting-edge security features to protect it from fraud.

The electronic chip in Bahrain’s ePassport is embedded in the polycarbonate data page, which is protected by seven or eight layers of polymers, the highest level of security for the passport page that counterfeiters most frequently target. Many nations embed the electronic chip in the passport’s cover.
