Balady Poultry Trading Co. has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dutch Company Nijhuis Saur Industries to establish strategic and commercial cooperation in sludge treatment and poultry farm waste management.
The agreement is designed to introduce innovative approaches for managing poultry farm waste, focusing on its efficient utilization and transformation into value-added products.
In addition, it aims to foster collaborative initiatives of mutual interest and create new avenues for investment opportunities between the two companies, strengthening strategic and commercial ties.
Furthermore, the agreement outlines the development of a comprehensive cooperation strategy to identify and advance shared opportunities, deliver solutions that enhance resource efficiency, and support initiatives focused on the circular economy and sustainable agricultural practices.
The signing took place under the patronage of Eng. Mansour Almushaiti, Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
Eng. Almushaiti also witnessed the signing of a framework agreement for technical cooperation and data exchange between the Saudi Agricultural Development Company and Baladi Poultry Company. The agreement aims to support the marketing of organic fertilizers produced through integrated processing and reuse practices, contributing to sustainable economic value.
The memorandum also provides for the exchange of technical expertise and insights on product usage and trial outcomes, alongside coordinated efforts for technical visits and relevant meetings between the two parties.
