Batelco by Beyon has introduced ‘Voya,’ an eSIM data roaming service that enables borderless connectivity, marking a key step forward in cementing the company’s position as a leader in smart connectivity solutions.
The service, the first of its kind in Bahrain, is available to users around the world, from all telecom companies, not just limited to Batelco’s customers.
Users can simply download an affordable data roaming plan directly to their phone, eliminating the need to exchange a SIM card. It can be activated via the Batelco App or website for as little as $5.30 (BD2) and enjoy uninterrupted data access across over 140 global destinations.
As an eSIM service, Voya can be accessed by everyone on any eSIM compatible device. To set up a new roaming eSIM, users simply need to enter their email address and can then enjoy seamless connectivity wherever they go.
It also enables users to easily switch between multiple networks at their destination. To further enhance the value proposition, Batelco is providing complimentary travel insurance for a promotional period.

The new service was announced during an event hosted in City Center. The event was attended by media representatives and executives from Batelco and featured a live demonstration of the easy eSIM activation process.
