Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has launched a major marketing campaign in the MENA region to amplify its vision of a Web3-enabled lifestyle.

Headquartered in Dubai, Bybit is bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 technologies by partnering with various local entities to integrate crypto into real-world experiences. The new initiative highlights its efforts to make cryptocurrency as accessible, and potentially more rewarding, than traditional payment methods.

The campaign, which began in June, features a variety of partnerships across multiple sectors, including entertainment, music, sports, dining, and transportation. Bybit is collaborating with venues like gaming lounges, concert halls, sports stadiums, restaurants, and the popular ride-sharing app, Careem.

Bybit users in the MENA region will now see targeted ads within the Careem app, which is widely regarded as the region’s most-loved super app. The ads introduce its crypto-native services, offering exclusive deals, promotions, and direct access to its platform for current and potential users. The goal is to encourage users to explore how digital assets can enhance their daily lives, particularly during the summer months.

Claudia Wang, Head of Marketing at Bybit shared on the philosophy of the campaign that, “Our local partners represent some of the most popular lifestyle choices in each community. We are grounded in customer-centricity: there is no real boundary in ‘old-school’ and Web3 marketing. We are everywhere our customers want us to be. Bybit as the brand is visible, accessible, and relatable across touch points.”

Bybit’s commitment to the MENA region is further reflected in its partnerships. For instance, Bybit Card holders in Dubai can enjoy up to 30 percent off services and room rates at the Grand Millennium Dubai. Additionally, the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) is a long-term partner in blockchain innovation and education. The Bybit Card also unlocks a range of perks, from access to airport lounges to subscriptions for AI co-pilots.

The ongoing campaign demonstrates Bybit’s ability to localize its offerings, positioning the MENA region as a testing ground for future integrated digital finance solutions. Its user base, which is over 70 million strong, is expected to benefit from first-mover advantages as the company continues to expand its crypto services across the globe. With a diverse suite of trading, custody, wealth management, and payment solutions, the exchange is setting the stage for a more rewarding and accessible crypto lifestyle.
