The purpose-built, 920,000-square-meter eCommerce center is aimed at attracting the world’s top eCommerce companies and setting a precedent for its infrastructure. The eCommerce zone, which was launched in January 2019 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, intends to enhance the emirate’s position as a hub for global eCommerce.
