Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), the global aviation services corporation, has signed agreements with two counterparties to sell approximately 75 aircraft.

Upon completion, the transactions announced will reduce the weighted average age and increase the weighted average remaining lease term of DAE’s passenger fleet. Upon completion, its pro forma fleet composition is expected to be 45 percent Boeing aircraft, 42 percent Airbus aircraft, and 13 percent ATR aircraft.

Certain transactions are subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. All transactions are expected to close before year-end 2025. Dubai Aerospace Enterprise was advised by Allen Overy Shearman Sterling LLP and KPMG, as per the statement.

Firoz Tarapore, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, commented that, “Consistent with ongoing commitments to our stakeholders, these transactions will achieve multiple objectives by aligning our portfolio composition with our stated target aircraft types, and enhancing the overall fuel efficiency, age profile, and remaining lease term characteristics of the portfolio.”

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise has consistently been recognized for its strong market position, disciplined investment strategy, and commitment to operational excellence. These agreements further reinforce its ability to execute large-scale portfolio transactions while maintaining agility in a dynamic market environment.

Earlier this year, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise reported the successful acquisition of 83 aircraft, including 30 owned and 53 managed assets. During the same period, the company also completed the sale of 68 aircraft, comprising 19 owned and 49 managed units.
