DIFC, Arizona State University’s unit join forces to open innovation center

The global management school at Arizona State University, Thunderbird School of Global Management has partnered with one of the leading financial hubs in the Middle East and North Africa region, Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) to open a new satellite center of excellence named Thunderbird Global Innovation Center.

Thunderbird’s Global Innovation Center is located at the DIFC Innovation Hub, which is known as a leading world-class business and innovation destination. The Center provides the most powerful entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region.  

The announcement of the opening of Thunderbird’s Global Innovation Center is being made during the Innovation Month at DIFC Innovation Hub which aims to bring together a new generation of creative minds to explore the industry of the future. 

The Thunderbird Global Innovation Center will capitalize on DIFC’s location and network to catalyze and accelerate startups and existing firms while providing world-class international business, leadership and management training, including delivery of graduate degree programs. 

Thunderbird Executive Education will offer elite hybrid learning programs for organizations and individuals. Innovators and entrepreneurs will have opportunities to design, test and refine their ideas working alongside top educators, business leaders, financial experts and thousands of other pioneers from DIFC’s vast and diverse ecosystem. 

Additionally, having a presence in this highly sought-after location will bolster regional recruiting and serve as a connection point for members of Thunderbird and Arizona State University’s global alumni networks.
