Digital Dubai inks collaboration agreement with Gulf Data International & US-based FaceTec

UAE-based leading IT systems integrator Gulf Data International (gDi) and FaceTec, a global leader in 3D face authentication software have signed a collaboration agreement with Digital Dubai in order to work together on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in biometric face verification technology.

Digital Dubai has been entrusted with four major responsibilities as the government agency in charge of the city’s digital development, and they are;

  • Hasten the digital transformation of the city through strategic partnerships with governments and private sector entities,
  • Increase the Emirate’s digital economy contribution to the city’s GDP,
  • Develop digital competencies of national talent,
  • Maintain and develop Dubai’s digital wealth, while also accelerating Dubai’s cyber security efforts.
