Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the allocation of 4,631 residential land plots valued at $1.44 billion (AED5.3 billion) for Emirati citizens in Dubai.

The plots, spanning more than 71 million square feet, are distributed across key development zones, including Al Eyas, Latifa City, and Mushrif.

The allocation forms part of Dubai’s broader housing program aimed at building integrated, sustainable communities aligned with long-term urban development goals.

Integrated housing ecosystem and digital delivery

The allocation process will be conducted through the Emirati platform on the DubaiNow application, streamlining access and enhancing service delivery for beneficiaries.

The initiative reflects Dubai’s focus on leveraging digital platforms to improve efficiency and transparency in government services.

Sheikh Mohammed said that “Our goal is for Dubai to become the world’s best city for family life by offering a leading urban ecosystem that combines an integrated social environment and advanced housing supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure and services. By meeting citizens’ needs and anticipating their future aspirations, Dubai will remain the city that embraces people’s dreams and offers every family a more stable living environment, creating a cohesive community where everyone thrives.”

The newly announced housing package is underpinned by a comprehensive development framework that integrates modern urban planning standards with sustainable infrastructure.

The planned communities will feature interconnected green spaces, recreational facilities, and pedestrian-friendly environments designed to promote healthy and active lifestyles.

Each development will include access to essential services such as mosques, schools, early childhood centers, retail outlets, and community facilities, ensuring a holistic living environment.

The initiative aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which focuses on sustainable, people-centric growth and enhancing the emirate’s global competitiveness.

Allocation across key areas

The distribution includes 2,540 residential plots in Al Eyas, covering approximately 39 million square feet. The area will feature advanced infrastructure, parks, cycling tracks, and a range of community amenities designed to elevate residents’ quality of life.

In Latifa City, 1,761 plots spanning 28 million square feet have been allocated, with plans for integrated facilities including mosques, parks, educational institutions, and community centers. Meanwhile, Mushrif will see the allocation of 330 plots across 4 million square feet, supported by essential infrastructure, green spaces, and neighborhood services.
