EDGE Group entity, Edge Precision Industries (EPI), the engineering backbone of the UAE’s aerospace and defense industry, and Strata Manufacturing (Strata), the advanced manufacturing facility wholly-owned by Mubadala, have signed a framework agreement to boost a sustainable aerospace industry in Abu Dhabi.
The agreement between the two UAE companies, signed on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2021 by Mr. Christian Ziehe, CEO of EPI, and Mr. Ismail Ali Abdulla, CEO of Strata, lays out the terms and conditions that will govern all future cooperation between EPI and Strata for Airbus and Boeing Aircraft Programs.
Strata manufactures advanced composite aerostructures from its facilities at Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park and has earned a reputation as the preferred partner of the world’s major aircraft manufacturers within a decade.
Its efforts have aided the UAE’s international footprint in aerospace manufacturing, with eight percent of the world’s global fleet now bearing the ‘Made with Pride in the UAE’ seal of quality.
