Emirates NBD to help DMCC ventures with deferred payment offer

The Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) has agreed with the Emirates NBD, one of the largest banking groups in the Middle East to allow deferred payments for DMCC services over multiple payments with their credit card at a zero percent interest rate.

With the new agreement both existing and new DMCC members can benefit from the flexibility to convert DMCC payments for company set-up, renewal or any other service-related fees into three, six or twelve months payment scheme without any interest fees.

Both the individuals and corporates can make use of this plan while using any credit cards issued by the Emirates NBD with a minimum payment of $136.

With this alliance of DMCC and Emirates NBD, over 17,500 DMCC members will get advantages in making timely ongoing routine payments, providing liquidity and financial flexibility.

The new DMCC member companies will receive a benefit in making payments related to the organization in a manageable way with no additional cost.

The executive director- Free Zone of DMCC, Ahamad Hamza said that the top priority of DMCC for the past few months was to support the business community. When the companies are now going through the phase of reopening and regaining from the hardships DMCC assures to maintain that support.

“Our partnership with Emirates NBD, alongside the extended and enhanced DMCC business support package, is set to boost Dubai’s economic resilience at this critical time and ensure that the Emirate remains the chosen place for doing business in the coming month and years,” Ahamad Hamza added.

The senior executive vice president and head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management of ENBD, Suvo Sarkar remarked that ENBD aims to reinforce initiatives that would bring ease in doing business in UAE. We have introduced several schemes and measures to support and provide financial relief to both small and medium enterprises and individual customers.

This new installment package is followed by DMCC’s largest commercial campaign, the Business Support Package started in March to support companies thrive during the time of COVID-19, as a result of great support the package extended till August.
