Emirates restarts passenger flights to 12 Arab countries from July 1

Dubai-based airline operator Emirates has started accepting bookings to resume passenger operations to 12 Arab Nations from July 1. 

Flight Reservations are now open for destinations including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. However, flyers have been advised that any reservations made can change with respect to the evolving situations based on global coronavirus updates.

Emirates had begun performing programmed flight services to nine destinations around the world from May 21, including London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney and Melbourne. The airline is also allowing connections in Dubai for flyers commuting between the UK and Australia.

While return flights are accessible for most destinations, passengers are presently expected to appeal for approval to travel back to the UAE.

Emirates has launched several safety measures for travelers and staff. Upon check-in, the airline will provide all passengers free sanitation kits. These will include face masks, gloves, antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer.

Gloves and masks must be used at the airport and the face masks are also mandatory on all Emirates flights.
