EMSTEEL Group and Oldendorff Carriers have signed a renewed long-term freight agreement to ensure the uninterrupted import of EMSTEEL’s key raw materials to the UAE.
The agreement positions Oldendorff Carriers as EMSTEEL’s dedicated logistics partner, providing efficient bulk-shipping services designed to guarantee safe, reliable, and responsible transport of critical raw materials.
Structured as a five-year contract with a total indicative value of approximately $160 million (AED 600 million), the agreement underscores the strategic importance of this long-standing collaboration.
Under the renewed agreement, Oldendorff Carriers will handle the transportation of around 5.2 million tonnes of iron ore pellets (IOP) annually from multiple sources, serving as a vital link between EMSTEEL and its suppliers.
The partnership enables seamless coordination, reliable deliveries, and strong collaboration across the supply chain, supporting EMSTEEL’s industrial operations and production capacity.
