EMSTEEL Group has launched ES600, the highest-strength steel rebar currently produced in the UAE, targeting high-rise construction and major infrastructure projects.
The new high-performance steel solution is designed to improve structural efficiency, reduce material consumption and support the UAE’s long-term infrastructure and industrial development goals.
The launch was announced during EMSTEEL’s ‘Building the UAE’s Future Together’ event in Dubai, attended by stakeholders from the UAE’s construction, engineering and industrial sectors. Certified to UAE and international standards, ES600 has been developed as a locally manufactured steel product focused on engineering efficiency, material optimization and structural resilience.
According to EMSTEEL, the product can reduce steel consumption by between 18 percent and 24 percent, depending on project scale and design requirements. The company said the rebar also lowers transport demand, logistics requirements and on-site congestion, helping improve project delivery efficiency.
EMSTEEL estimates that every 10,000 tons of ES600 used can reduce approximately 12,107 tons of CO2 emissions. In tower developments, the company said the product can cut emissions by around one ton of CO2 per floor.
The steel rebar is already being deployed across residential, mixed-use, infrastructure and landmark projects in the UAE, reflecting growing demand for advanced construction materials in complex urban developments.
EMSTEEL said the total volume supplied and secured for ongoing and confirmed projects has exceeded 200,000 tons, including major high-rise towers, master-planned communities and large-scale urban developments.

EMSTEEL also announced the completion of its AED625 million asset enhancement program, valued at approximately $170.2 million (AED 625 million), which will expand ES600 production capacity and introduce advanced shear systems for manufacturing high-strength rebars aimed at supporting more sustainable construction practices.
