Etihad Airways has celebrated the holy month of Ramadan by offering guests a thoughtfully curated journey that reflects the rich Emirati culture and traditions across its network.

The airline has enhanced the guest experience both on the ground and in the air, combining premium hospitality with authentic culinary and cultural offerings.

A curated culinary journey

Throughout Ramadan, Etihad is offering a culinary journey featuring traditional Arabian dishes and regional ingredients. Guests in Business and First Class lounges at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, as well as the Etihad Lounge at London Heathrow, can enjoy Ramadan-inspired dishes such as Arabic spiced grilled lobster, date kunafa, and rose-and-pomegranate mousse cake.

Premium cabin passengers will savor options including Arabic mixed grills, pistachio caramel cake with strawberries, saffron and orange cake, or a healthy Iftar salad, while economy passengers can enjoy Emirati classics like braised lamb or chicken with vermicelli rice, complemented by traditional desserts.

For flights outside Iftar and Suhoor times, take-away Ramadan gift bags are provided to ensure guests can observe the holy month conveniently.

Ramadan on E-BOX and in Abu Dhabi

Etihad has also relaunched its direct Abu Dhabi–Medina route, operating four times per week since November 2025, providing seamless travel for guests performing Umrah during the holy month.
