Export Bahrain has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HQ, under which Export Bahrain becomes the official ‘Export Partner’ of the HQ Industrial project in Hidd.

The partnership seeks to establish a comprehensive support ecosystem for entrepreneurs within HQ Industrial.

Beneficiaries will have access to Export Bahrain’s services, such as export advisory, capacity building, market linkages, and initiatives designed to facilitate international expansion and growth beyond local markets.

Safa Sharif Abdulkhaleq, CEO of Export Bahrain, said that the MoU reflects Export Bahrain’s commitment to empowering Bahrain-based businesses and enhancing their readiness to expand into international markets.

She noted that the partnership will provide an integrated suite of export services and programs that meet businesses’ needs and enable them to transform their export ambitions into real growth opportunities.

Latifa Mohamed A. Jabbar, General Manager of Hope Ventures, affirmed that this partnership represents a valuable addition to the HQ Industrial ecosystem, noting that enabling industrial projects to access export services is a key pillar for supporting their sustainability and growth.

She added that HQ believes supporting industrial businesses goes beyond providing space and infrastructure; it also includes empowering them to reach global markets. The partnership with Export Bahrain represents a strategic step that enhances tenants’ ability to expand and compete regionally and internationally.

The MoU reflects both parties’ shared commitment to strengthening the business environment in the Kingdom and enhancing collaboration between the public and private sectors.

The partnership is expected to enhance export opportunities for tenants at HQ Industrial, open new avenues for cooperation, support economic diversification objectives, and reinforce Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for emerging industries, as per the statement.
